Become a Calendar Partner
The Chewelah community has been asking for a centralized community calendar for years. This is our chance to see that dream become a reality!
There are a number of ways to partner with or support the community calendar:

Organizations and businesses that become Community Partners can:
- Whitelist multiple email addresses for direct submissions, bypassing moderation.
- Get their logo & link featured on the calendar website.
- Have a preferred venues added to the quick selection list in submissions.
- May request access to the base Google Calendar.
Community Partners agree to:
- Add a link on their website to the Community Calendar (in the main navigation, when possible).
- Assign someone to receive periodic moderation requests (managed via a Google group email).
- Promote the calendar on their social media.
- Participate in occasional email-based decision-making for guidelines, promotions, and expenditures.
- Attend an annual partners meeting to review guidelines, success, and goals.

As a Calendar Contributor you...
- Can whitelist one email address for direct submissions, bypassing moderation.
- May request a venue to be added to the quick selection list.
- Agree to share promotional materials at your events &/or place of business.
- Are encouraged (but not required) to make a donation to support calendar technology & promotion*.
*Donors will be acknowledged on the website.

- Sponsors can display advertisements on the calendar website.
- Ads can be updated anytime.
- Canva templates and posting guidance will be provided.

Any community member can help us promote the community calendar by:
- Encouraging organizations, businesses, and event coordinators to add their events to the calendar
- Reminding your friends and family to check it to see what's happening in town (it can a little time for community members to adjust to a new way of doing anything)
- Adding the link to the community calendar on your organization or businesses website
- Make a point to say "Thank You" to our sponsors and, when possible, patronize their businesses
